New Club Downtown Orlando: DragonRoom

Hey everyone!!!!

I was out last night downtown and a friend of mine who spins house said he was gonna be playing at a new club called Drangon Room in a couple Thursday's. I was a tad tipsy so I'm failing to remember whether or not he said it is currently open or has yet to open soon... Im just excited cuz a new club in Orlando for dance music, woohoo! The Vault (which is badass, now THIS!) Again, I don't know the specifics yet, but keep an ear out and I'll update this thread again later when I find out more about the place! Anyone heard anything about it? Frank, have you?

Apparently it is (or will be) located on Church Street in Downtown Orlando near that bar Hogs N' Honey's.

Yeah the Vault is tight. Its really random when the club gets packed up though... I'm not sure its really on any particular night? I know I have been there on different days and Ive had a good time. Even if its slow theres always good tunes.

yea i hate on it all the time.. so ready to move outta here...

BUT- it really IS the second best place in FL to party to hear music after Miami!!

Imagine if we lived in like.. Tallahassee or something- that would SUCK. There ARE things to do around here downtown. NO pvd isnt spinning at Antigua tonight lol but we DO get DJ's and there is alot of talent for breaks and house music up here, and that's a fact.

The dragon room is going to be playing alot of house music, that is the plan for now. One of my old barbacks is working there, I am pretty certain they are not open yet as he was helping with the set up and all. There is also a really kewl place that just opend across the street from the vault called FLOW. I really like the enviroment inside, it is a real chilled out place though. More like a bar not a club, I don't even think it is DJ based, all cd from what I heard. As for up coming things, ICON is back to playing breakbeats on FRIDAY nights, up coming shows monk, baby anne, jakyl n hyde live PA, and a what should be AWESOME show march 3rd but I can't leak out the details on this one. It is not confirmed but sounds promising!
