Passport Question

Has anyone applied for a passport recently? If so, how long dose it usually take to process. The application says 10 working days but I've heard it can upward to 3 months.

And don't mail it in.

Go to the passport office on Victoria St. and hand it in yourself - 10 days guaranteed [in fact once it only took 4 for me].

you can get it the same day if you tell them its an emergency...

depends if its a renewal or a new passport

I hear there is a place downtown you can buy them for $200 too..

It's guaranteed within 12 days if you go into the office with all your documents. I just brought mine in this morning cause my old one is expiring this year.

3 months is a crock of shit. That does NOT happen.

there's no way it would ever take three months although i waited in line for nearly that long... mine took about 2 weeks to process so 10 days is probably normal.

Ok, thanks guys. Looks like I will need one in April and I wanted to know how much time I had to get it processed.

Read This!

My brazilian passport is well overdue for a renewal. I keep putting that off...

But yeah, even for a new passport, it's about 5 days if you go pick it up at the office (like I did), or 10 days if you want it mailed to you.
