ULTRA hotel pitch in ROLL CALL
Okay guys, ULTRA is coming sooner than we know, and we need to get up and going. I know that I, along with a few other people, do not want to pay for a hotel when the rates are so high on my own. We need to reserve a room quick or find someplace to crash, b/c I know I've got no where to stay in Miami *chuckles*.
So who's in for a hotel pitch in? It's not like we're going to be sleeping much anyway.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna get a room with the eNation crew or if I'll get one with you guys. I'd rather get one with TAs just cus it's fucking Ultra and it's fucking Miami...why not!?
It'll prolly be decided by the prices of the rooms you guys and the eNation crew gets. What price range are you looking into Sara? And how many people are you thinking per room? I mean anywhere from 2 to 20 is a possibility when you are talking to true partiers. lol.
But anyway, I'd be down into looking into this!

I was looking at March 5-8th too! I want to be heading back on the ninth. Sounds like the majority of us are going on the same track. I don't f-in care how many people are in the room lol, I figured we'd all pitch in, and then we'd find a place to sleep, whether on the bed/floor, whatever. I'd make the reservation, but being 18 (19 in a few days) I can't.
We should round up who's driving with who too. Phil, James, Rach, Hope and I are all relatively in the same area... Spyke, you can join in from Gainesville....

Okay, no joke now, I'm bumping this back up. We've got 47 days until ULTRA, so we have to figure out who's going to pitch in for the room and what hotel to reserve. Prices are going up as we speak and rooms are being filled. Let's get to work on this.

What hotel are we looking at? I'm wanting to make reservations myself, and if we can decide on a hotel, I can try to help whatever way I can.
Just a quick recommendation... I'm sure with all the TAs going we will need more than one room. What we should try to do is all book the same hotel and if possible request adjacent rooms so we can have a "TA block" so to speak. With that said anyone find some reasonable hotel deals?

TA block idea
The "block" idea sounds good, I'm currently researching hotels in the area (I don't know Miami that well...) and making a list of possibles. I can also make reservations if needed.

I'm waiting til I see some WMC parties are confirmed. I need to know what days I'm staying before I can book. Like I said it is tentatively Fri 3/5 - Tue 3/9 but not definate yet.
BTW, Sara, how are you gonna get in to anything besides Ultra? You gonna get a new fake?

How to get the best fake id ever. (the legal way)
1. beg a friend that is over 21 to get a new state id at the dmv office.
2. make sure the office is busy enough so the people working there doesnt notice anybody in particular.
3. just have the 21 yr old fill out all the info and talk to the person when asking for the new state id.
4. when they call your friends name to take the picture, you take the picture for them duh
5. only bad thing is that say for example when they have to renew their license and they do it via internet or snail mail which a new id comes in , its gonna have your picture and not theirs... no biggie they can just go in and ask for a duplicate
i did it last year so a friend of mine could goto the wmc space events, and i renewed my license online and i got his picture in the mail lolol 
but i just went back to dmv and asked for a duplicate and they took another pic and my friend even paid for the duplicate 
online hotel reservations
The only problem I see with using Expedia or some other "online" service is that most of them want full payment at the time of reservation. There are hotels for around $60 but not really close to the event. The closer we get the more expensive it gets. I know I can't afford to have $120 X 4 charged to my debit card in the next few days. Ideas?
Alright I might be staying longer than all the other Atlanta TA's. So I would need to room up with someone from Monday Night March 8- Wednesday March 11? Would anyone mind?
