The techier sound of hard house

I'm looking for hard house tunes that have a techier feeling to it BK & Sentience are the only names I can think of, but I'm pretty sure there's far more If there's any hard house/nrg track you want to recommend, but that doesn't sound techy, feel free to do so too

ps.: Search engine says there are no results even though I remember seeing something about it being mentioned here a little while ago.

Yeah K90 have produced some melodic stuff, hard-edged kinda but very uplifting. That's the stuff I like; Deliverance, Red Snapper, etc. But it's not what you're looking for.

Of late they've turned to more of a hard trance/dance/house style which I don't like as much but is still preferable to most of that genre in my opinion.

yeh the new k90 stuff just sounds like shitly made trance rather than the old stuff they used to do.

Two words; Sentience & Nick! Have a listen to two CD�s mixed by him. International Big Room Tunes, and International Big Room DJ�s. I think a lot of the material on there will be what you�re looking for. But bear in mind that he only mixed one of the CD�s in each double compilation.

he said techier hardhouse, and plus ive heard it played in hardhouse sets, so SWING. hardhouse and techno can be fairly interchangeble.

Andy Farley put Oxia - Contrast on one of his compilations, that doesn't make it hard house. Murder Was The Bass is made by Jesper Dahlb�ck and Thomas Krome, two of sweden's biggest techno producers, so SWING right back at ya. You're right that hard house and techno can be interchangeble tho.

and yes, sentience is the main man behind techy and hard house, hes been doing it for years.

and on another note, 90% of new Vicious Circle stuff has a techy edge (not including farley/janes)

and K90 is a he.

AND, theres only been one track in a year or so thats been techy on tidy.....n that was a remix by sentience.

Thanks for the tips, I'm check these tunes out right away As for Tidy... well, the intro music was quite different from what I had always linked Tidy to (12" inch Thumpers, for example) and it was not really techy, but it was good nonetheless
