If anything the:

RELEASE DATE: 5Q 2005

should have tipped you off that it's phony. There can only be 4 quarters in a year.

Drunk

He he,

Very funny, that was actually a good one. Brightened my day up at least. I like your sense of humor.

In case someone hasn't figured it out yet.

- First up the record looks like it's the blank side on a single sided test pressing.

- Second, the Behringer sticker looks as if it was peeled off something else.

- Not to mention that the unit itself is actually a guitar effects unit turned back to front.

- 56 Gigavolt, hmmmm you will suck the national grid dry in no time. Heaven forbid that more than one person owns it. Black out time!

- Laptop included in the price of $29.99 and the release in Q5 well that just confirms it's a joke.

- And the name 'Tad Behringer' cracked me up.

I think it's kinda cool that someone thought about a joke like this. It could however be quite sad for someone if they beleived it and actually got excited about the whole thing.

Cheers

Nice joke

Although it wouldn't surprise me they are working on something like this. It's in their habit of ripping original idea's and stick their name on it.

Latest casualty : the Mackie Control Midi controller. Behringer showed it at NAMM, it looks 90% identical to the Mackie, except another color, and Behringer written on it.

If they price it right, they might actually pull something good off. Of course, no P&G faders, but you don't really need that kind of quality for a midi controller.

you have too much time on your hands

I'm glad some people get the joke.

I was wondering whether people would recognize the old DOD TEC 4 FX processor...
And yeah, Tad Behringer cracks me up as well, hahaha.

I heard that PCDJ is coming out with something like finalscratch, except you will use your soundcard as the unit itself. You can buy the Discs for 8 bucks a piece and you're set. Only difference is that you're gonna have to use their software. I dont know how good its gonna be. You can either buy the software or well, download it... Im not supporting that though.

But for those who dont care, total will come up to about 16 bucks and YOU GOT FINALSCRATCH.

Heh... This may be just a rumour, i heard about that from a buddy of mine.

That will introduce sound quality issues, as most laptops have shitty sound and only one out.

That sounds pretty good, but is it comparable to 29.99 for the program + a laptop? And another thing, I heard a rumuour from Tad that there is going to be a mail in rebate so it will probably be even cheaper than what I said.
