CD Reviews / New Releases Discussion
Post your thoughts on CDs you've recently heard or on new tracks you think are worthy of mention

It doesn't say new released tracks you think are worthy of mention

Great track imo. Not better than "North Pole" though.
8.5/10

Posted by sndh on Jan-20-2004 10:04:

oh please, all the ppl who keep saying this is a NEW releases forum, post your thoughts in the other threads in this forum ... a little more frequent please

Posted by Kaiser on Jan-20-2004 10:13:

My first thought of this tune was utter shite, no comparison to North Pole but I have given it a few listens and it could become a tune that grows on me, ill give it a generous 5.5/10 (for now)

Posted by Omegasox on Jan-21-2004 00:52:

North Pole shits on this. And every future release will be shit on as well.

North Pole is my favourite track of 03... so I was kinda keen on this one but it leaves me feeling only ho hum... if I never hear it again I won't be saddened

Posted by DeviantxPete on Jan-21-2004 23:53:

North Pole.

Posted by Salem on Jan-21-2004 23:58:

Was I not supposed to post this here? Isn't it a new release?

I'm confused..

But thanks to those who contributed to the topic

And of course it can't beat North Pole! :P

Posted by DeleriuM2K on Jan-22-2004 06:10:

7/10

North Pole > South Pole > Sahara

edit:

8.5/10
sorry solid globe for dissing you
upon relistening to it louder and noticing the subtler sounds and quality production, I have grown quite fond of this track

it has that Solid Globe sound found in the Poles

Posted by InfiniteSquare on Jan-22-2004 21:33:

you had all better relisten cos this track kicks ass !!)!)!!)!)

Posted by EverZ on Jan-22-2004 22:22:

It's a nice track, but i hope it won't make top of 2004. I expect more of 2004.

Posted by SMC on Jan-23-2004 14:47:

I was a bit surprised by Sahara. It was much better than I had expected and much better than North Pole. Sahara has a fresh and quite "new" sound, thing that is not too common in the melodic scene nowdays.

Posted by Joel on Jan-23-2004 17:10:

i actually quite like this, didn't like the last Solid globe tunes tho

Posted by Matt on Jan-24-2004 15:02:

very nice tune indeed

initial rating is 9/10

we'll see how long it sticks.

Posted by Nell on Jan-24-2004 16:56:
