Where can a young DJ find pro-bono gigs?

I want to get very modest little gigs. For instance...the silver room in bucktown. Im 17 years old with a disco house arsenal of records. I would love to start spinning publicly. Anyone know of any places like the silver room?

Send places your promos if you want to spin. If they have never heard of you, it wont happen...

Tho being 17 and in a 21+ place... I cant see that happening. Having minors in an establishment that serves is a big fine on the place

The laws vary from place to place, but most 21+ establishments can employ those under 21 as long as they're 18+.
