help with burning cd's
my computer doesn't like the idea of burning cd's when i split tracks, it always throws up an error and spits the cd out, it's fine if i don't split the track, which kinda rules out the CD-R drive being fucked, so i am stumped as to what it could be
Anybody
split it first in a wav program then slap em in to nero, take out the 2sec gaps and burn. That's the way i do it.
or devise a cue file and use a marvelous program such as fuerio cd burner. its fucking magic for burning audio cd's. it can't burn anything else tho
i have different burning apps for different shit, like i use alcohol for burning image files, nero for .nrg image files, and fuerio for music.
link to feurio (its free) http://www.feurio.com/
make sure you get latest aspi drivers and the latest cd writer patch for it, should be able to find them all on that site.
okay, any suggestions as to what program to use to split the wav file(preferably a free/trial one), I tried splitting it using nero, and it just fell over again. The error said 'power calibration error'

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

thought ur laser might have fried
just a last thought before i buy a new cd burner, could it possibly be that its not compatible with the software i'm trying to use
try other software by all means, shouldn't make a difference tho... and make sure your aspi layers are up to date and installed.
