CHURCH CHOIR in trance??

Hello!

I try to figured out what's the best way to produce samples and sounds "choir in trance" ... like in "SUNLIGHT THEORY" respect ENVIO and SVENSON!! -> I hope they recorded at church with microphone -> thats explain everything how perfect the choir sound is :P

Right now I can manage only background voices ...

Examples ->
Plain Choir

With LOW BASS

Clip contains : some random generated melody and ADAGIO FOR STRINGS!

So any tips are welcome! How to make samples sing :P Vocaloid? Melodyne?

So please give me some replies

i don't think that you can produce such vocals choir with a synth..

but you could try to use single choir sounds and layer them in sampler. even, it'll not be perfect...

I love those Choir Chorus sounds. Those were awsome. were did u find them at?

Spectrasonics Atmosphere has pretty good Choirs and Strings - or if you want a hardware solution the Roland XV5050 is good as well

Here is an example of what I did with Spectrasonics Atmosphere - (it isn't complete) download here

Is Atmosphere sampled based or oscillator based?

Sounds so sweet, and good, I like

Posted by alanzo on Jan-19-2004 02:19:

It's sample based - the .dat file is 3.74gb making it the biggest synth every

is it worth investing, and getting?

Depends on what you want to do - if your pure trance then you might want to get a Nord Lead 2 (I've never used one but I've heard that it's great for trance) Atmosphere has a lot of (as the name says) atmospheres - like evolving bells, choirs, strings (both acoustic and analog) - for pure trance leads you would want the Nord Lead 2 but for everything else you can use atmosphere

Cool, im intrested in the Atmospheric, sounds. Whats you know about the Novation SuperNova II Synth?

Posted by alanzo on Jan-19-2004 03:23:

No, is it a VSTi or Hard Synth?

Posted by Pappa on Jan-19-2004 03:32:

Hard Synth..

well your on the right place to find out about it - create a thread and ask if anyone owns one and ask for an opinion.

Hello!
Your song Atmosphere strings and pads rules big time but these choire sounds are too cheap They sound too robotic and technical It's not criticism but I want more Try write moviemusic!

If it comes to choirs, the two best things you could get imo are either
Spectrasonics Symphony of Voices

or

Quantum Leap Voices of the Apocalypse

Both are sample cd's, but they really are the best if it comes to choirs. Just go to www.spectrasonics.net or www.soundsonline.com and listen to the demo samples, and you'll hear why.

I heard Vienna is planning a huge choir package too. If it's anything near as good as the Symphonic Library, they got a winner.

have you tested the Quantum Leap VOA utility what comes with CD's??
I just want to know , is there possible to make verse or something like that (not backgroud voices).
Or that Vocaloid proggy where you can just type the word and choire sings it it sounds very impossible but it's true or not
