apparently they're really strict about people taking photos inside. Aparently its a No no... or so i've been told. not 100% sure on it though.

I think they have a house photographer. They let me in with my cam, but told me not to use it. I saw some people taking some pics, and no bouncer came and confiscated their cameras (like they claimed would happen), but I didn't bother taking any, cuz just my luck, I'd be the one to get caught.

i did check www.trance365.com

yes they are strict with the camera inside, the bouncer came up and told me nicely to please put it away!.

but then some of them are just being pricks about it.

you are allowed to take your own pictures of your friends just not of the club for some weird apparent reason, i am presuming since its new they want more people to come and check it out themselves.

its custom policy in afterhours in Montreal (Boa is trying to copy the formula of Stereo). I have posted about why no pics a dozen of times before.

Basically they want to control the image of the club.

i.e. shitty pictures finding their way on the net. Would you believe that these two sets of pictures represented the same night?

i agree , i guess its all about image nowdays.

i dont why anyone would do such a stupid thing to keep a image, if they already know what the inside of the club look like.? and most of friends partiers etc, go by word of mouth.

it seems stupid, but some djs, sponsors, etc want to know how a club look like... before commiting to a said club... yeah, politics.

It all depends on 3 things:
- If u have a decent camera
- If u are a good photographer
- If you have DJ booth access for the best shots

lol .. that's jokes man .. it's almost as if the person who was taking pics for the MTL raves site wanted the event to look more like a rave as opposed to a club party and vise versa for ur own pics .. eh Malek .. ?

I know i am better equipped, thats not the issue.

The issue is that Aria isn't happy when the club look as bad as in those pics. And as a webmaster you have to take a decision as whether to post any pics or choosing the right ones.

Also think about this, I was at that party, I know how it looked like, and the pics I took represent it more accuratly. Those who have been to Aria know how the lighting system is very colorful and powerful.

it is kind of strange that the club has been up and running for almost a month now and they still don't have any pictures on their web site even though their own photographer has been busy covering each event...it doesn't take alot of effort to upload pics to a web site...

as far as the club itself it's nice but by the way people were having orgasms describing it i was expecting something a little more spectacular when i first saw it...the big selling point is the sound and the fact the staff actually treat you like a human being...

as far as the decor of the club there's nothing jaw dropping there...it's nice but nothing i haven't seen before...like any new place it's going to be a novelty for awhile and that alone will draw the crowds...big name dj's every saturday on that system should make the club last but with a $30/$35 cover charge i know i for one will be picking my spots as to when i go...
