Funny how life hits you hard when you least expect it
It just came to my attention that I knew the father of one of the people who died in the place crash on lake Erie, a few days ago. Guy died before age 30, funny how life hits you hard when you least expect it. Also shows how precious life is.
That really sucks.
life is precious and far too many of us take it for granted, myself included...my grandmother died new years eve, she was 92 and went in her sleep...i think we'd all take that deal if we could...a buddy at work was close friends with the family of the two women that died in whitby last week when the train derailed and fell off the overpass onto their van...and my parents attended a funeral of a 29 year old father of 3 who was as healthy as you can be but never awoke from an afternoon nap, so ya never know....
we abuse our systems by poor eating habits, lack of exercise or taking in substances which were never meant to be in our bodies in the first place and expect to come out of it every time without a scond thought...as tough and durable as the body is it can also be incredibly fragile and quit on you at any time...
my biggest new years resolution was to cut down on the partying and take better care of myself though that kind of went for a crap at ultraspin4...however the way i felt on sunday i'm surprised i'm still on the right side of the grass...i think i've just about used up my nine lives...

depends on who is spinning but usually it's house with lots of vocals up until around 2ish then things get a bit darker as everyone's meds kick in....sometimes it gets proggy or techy but the residents play their share of diva-dance...if i had to recommend a night to go it would be when mark falco is spinning...
fly's web site
My condolences Andy. Hope everything works out for you.
I was a co-pilot on the Grand Caravan for Wasaya when we lost one on Sept 11, 2003 with all souls on board. The only reason I wasn't on that flight was becasue I was getting my medical renewed in a different city that day. The Georgian Caravan that crashed was also dispatched single pilot, and into freezing rain. Next time you see one of these pilots think that they're only making about 25K a year and risking their lives every day. What a great industry.
The pilots name was Wayne Price, and he was from Richmond hill.
sorry to hear what happened Torontotrance. It is especially hard to lose someone unexpectedly. Life is too short. I know the feeling.. lost a bro two years ago in his sleep. He was only 23. Do the things you'd like to do while you still can. You never know what tomorrow might bring.
