armin - burned with desire (kyau vs albert mix)..

WOW..i think this mix ows the rising star mix...i love what they did with the vocals...

Posted by arturob on Jan-20-2004 16:25:

all the remixes are horrible in my opinion. this track should not have been remixed! i think rising star mix and dub were fine alredy. its really dissapointing to hear how bad this remixes are!

xxx art

the rising mix was nothing special IMO...kyau vs albert took it a step in the right direction....and this track should of been remixed...the original isnt goood for a set..

rising star mix rocks so hard live OMFG. how can you say is nothing special. the album version still the best! great encore track :P

I fully agree. I could have guessed that Ronski Speed would have done a cheap standard-sounding mix. But I expected more from Kyau vs Albert, since their remix on John Askew - Skylab was nice.

I agree, the Rising Star remix is the best remix. The Kyau vs Albert remix is good only for being original and something really different from all the other remixes, but it's nowhere as good as the Rising Star remix

definitely not! they're so different

The KvsA mix is my fav mix of the track. I really like the way how they construct the bassline... sounds like Outback and what Slusnik Luna did on Flakes...

Rising Star Mix.

The initial drum loop that the track starts off with is blatantly ripped from Church Of Extacy - Church of Extacy. It's lame that they didn't do more to hide it, but that being said that loop ROCKS! (so does the original tune!)

Too bad they didn't include the "acid... acid... acid... acid..." samples

Also have to wonder if COE got credit for their sample being used?

Every letter you used is obviously english.
Have you ever given credit to your ancestor?

sketch the loop graph and prove it? I can hardly find they "ripped" from it. Even the bass kick doesn't sound similar.

English words and letters don't fall under copyright (though Bill Gates probably has tried to patent digital 1's and 0's! LOL)

Listen to this part of the intro and tell me it's not the same (minus the some sort of hollow sound hit and a hihat that Kyau and Albert added)

Church Of Extacy - Church Of Extacy.mp3 (clip)

The version of your sample is indeed very similar. But what I've heard b4 the track is some old rave track and far from sounding like this. Give more info about this.

It's from a 4 disc compilation called "Best Of Rave" I got when I was a senior in high school (1993-1994) that had a bunch of choice rave tunes from (then) the past few years. It's the 7th track on the 4th disc.

Church of Extacy is also the same guys behind GTO, if that rings a bell.

See http://www.discogs.com/release/89130 for more info.
