Ok, so I checked my mail last night before going to bed and once finished, the lazy bastard that I am, turned off the power to the PC. Now, when I load my computer up today to check my mail, instead of automatically signing me, it prompts me to enter my name and password. it would normally read '[email protected]' and I would just type in my password. Instead it read 'With [email protected]'.. no underscore or anything.. I don't know anyone with that mail address, and you can't have spaces in hotmail accounts.. so... wtf?

Perhaps someone tried using your comp while you were asleep and attempted to log in using that name with the sole purpose of freaking you out?
