hey.

4 of us are at Adelaide Uni, what course you doing?

Dj Solace on here has informed us that he is running monthly Trance nights.

If you like your prog, Fabric is on once a month as well.

Theres places to go out, nothing compared to Sdney, but its what you make it, if you come here thinking, Adelaides gonna suck, Im gonna have a shit time, you will, but if you go out to have fun, you can have the best nights here.

Do you know anyone in Adelaide?

and are you staying at the colleges or what with uni?

Will be stayin at CITI apartments (i think), and i dont know anyone. Will just have to meet the right ppl and we'll see how we go.

so what courses r u guys doin???

Welcome to the Adelaide TA community! It's nice to see somebody coming along to Adelaide who's also interested in trance/med. We meet up regularly, so I'm sure you'll get to meet us all pretty soon (we're all perfectly normal!).

We get some pretty good internationals in Adelaide. Over the last two years we've had Tiesto, Corsten, PvD, Blank & Jones, John '00' Fleming and many others too. And the great thing is they're usually not packed, which means you can get up close with the DJ.

By the way, what's this rubbish about not having time to party! Med (and engineering) students are the biggest partiers of the lot (I'm in 4th year)! Also, don't worry about meeting people, I'm also from interstate (hence my current location being Brisbane) and you make friends really quickly, especially if you're in college. In fact, I'll most probably be DJing at med camp, which I think is the second week back for you guys (us poor clinical students have to start at the end of Jan)

As far as trance events go, Chemistry @ Heaven II (Thursdays) is pretty good. Traffic has regular trance nights and there's lots of others too.

P.S. Lol @ gumble - economics, finance, commerce, business - they're all the same thing!

Whereas we go to uni 5 days, spend the rest of our lives studying, and only start making decent money about 13 years later.

Dude, you get like 4 months of constant holiday!

Just wait till you start working full time and are lucky to get 4 days of holiday - then you're permitted to complain...

Posted by PulseFusion on Jan-27-2004 01:59:

you're jealous arent ya

he he, i was faced with a difficult decision this morning, whether i'd sleep in then go to the beach for the afternoon and evening or just stay at home and watch a movie with a few mates and beers... obviously im up now, just to decide, movie or beach...

he he, nah, i'm just enjoying the last month of holidays until i retire!!

Oh, but you're forgetting the 2 week midsemester break we get, then the 2 week midyear break , then the 2 week mid-semester two break, then 3 weeks of swotvac before exams.
