'Best of Trance 2003' CD out

hey you guys .. I was browsing around Virgin Megastore and ran into a cd called 'Best of Trance 2003'. It is a 4 cd set that costs about $50. Pretty good price for a 4-cd set of the 2003 anthology. I was looking through the list (77 songs) .. some songs i agree with and some i do not .. some i have not even heard of before... some instant classics .. some too poppy .. some allright songs .. some summer anthems .. but should the song 'nothing but you' be in the list, since it was released in 2002 .. but i think it should have been included in this list, because it was popular in 2003 .. in fact .. i haven't even heard of at most 20% of the songs .. am i living under a rock or something .. i don't think, since i do have internet access .. is it bad that i do not know 20% of the best trance songs of 2003?? here's the list ...

you gotta admit though... thats not 'too' bad considering what these comps usually have on it. usually the best of trance comps i see have 5 cds of tracks all by 'Trancefied' or some other no-name producer. and at least its better than MoS releases.

Seems pretty crap to me........

Of course, I would have to listen to the CD to judge it for myself.

dj arabesque = mario piu,
but mario piu is not gigi d'agistino,
the only similarities is that
they both are italians and
they both has worked with mauro picotto
and both mario & gigi (and picotto also) are damn ugly

Hmm.. that's strange. Here in Holland this cd is released too, but with Fictivision in the tracklist. Maybe a misprint by Amazon?

Thats actually not a bad compilation for 77 tunes, better than the usual garbage. The title 'Best of 2003' is very misleading though

i would definatley buy this no matter wot you are all saying.some big tunes on there that youd never see on a mix compilation...

I already got what I want and didn't pay anything!
$50 for 50% crap????

a lot of good songs on it, but a lot of crap too, but you can't have it all... there's more than your own taste

anyway, if they aren't mixed together it should be a very interesting cd for the cd-dj's here who actually buy their music

the tracklist is hit-and-miss...

if the cd's are indeed mixed they're likely to be crappy fade in/fade out mixes so unless you've heard exceptionally good things about this collection i'd save my $$...

Well, of course it must be mixed since there are 77 tracks spread over 4 CDs (~19 tracks per CD).
