You have some interesting ideas no doubt, but the main thing I can hear is that you need some new deeper and richer sounds. Just out of interest what are you using to make them?

Licensed to play:
The base idea is solid but needs a lot more detail in terms of percussion and in general melodies. The track also needs a lot of mastering to bring out the richness that's needed. Quite a funky little number though.

Race against time:
This track needs new drum sounds badly. They are very basic and definately in the need of a lot of work. This track also needs a proper bassline to carry it.

Didn't see a name for the 3rd:
Hmmm.. sounds very Gary Numan. This has a very 'New Romantic' feel to it.. all we need is an English manic depressive telling us about his love for his aged hamster and voila! j/k Don't like the yappy dog sound towards the end though.

There is definately music in you or you wouldn't be able to do what you have done.
You definately need new sounds though as I think that would inspire you to get more creative. I think your tracks may also need some more variation as they do get a little repetetive. On the whole though very interesting.

Keep 'em coming dude.

Cheers

thanks a lot for your kind words...

fyi all my tracks were made using Reason 1.1

yep & as u say, i definitely need more sounds coz i tend to use the default kits that come along with Reason....i've been d/l new sounds / kits etc....so hopefully i'll be able to do better music soon.....

any more comments from all u people would be welcome...will definitely help me in making better music and hey, you can proudly say someday (when i'm famous) that you guided Zooter....

About "1 night stand":

This is a very flat club sound. Reminds me of Mr. Oizo and his Flat Beat, which is fun music! But i hope you'll be using some new synths soon because i think it's way too flat.

Some variations in the baseline would spice things up, and the songs needs more percussion.

At 2.51 these ambient synth kinda annoy, try to find a better synth for these.

Listened to liscensed to play.

Kinda funky, but the synths that are used are kinda average. Cool ideas in here though.

Song has no intro, it just abruplty starts which is not so cool.

Bassline is nice and chunky, I like that.

The song is pretty cool for a while but the sounds you use need some work. Try experimenting with subtractor so that you can program it to make sounds that you want rather than just the presets that it comes with. It will take a while to be able to do this but it makes everything that much easier.
