Oh No!

i was at work today nd they had z103 on, and guess what i heard. motorcycle- as the rush comes. OH NO!!!!

Posted by SgtFoo on Jan-21-2004 05:25:

old news. it's been on z103 for a while...and i think they call it "as the rush comes in/on/up" or something like that.

bah...as long as they don't know about the G&D and AVB remixes, which are way better that their shitty radio cut.

OMG OMG OMG I WAS LISTENING TO A CHEESY EURO RADIO STATION AND THEY PLAYED AN OLD BUT POPULAR TRANCE, TECHNO, OR PROGRESSIVE TUNE!!! OMGOMGOMG!!!11one

Posted by Time2Burn on Jan-21-2004 05:50:

The only thing that bothers me about the zee playing ATRC is that they introduce it like its the newest, freshest, hottest release. So now after we have all killed it over the past year we are now gonna go into over-kill mode by hearing it coming out of every civic in toronto.

Other than that I think everyone deserves to hear this great song.

Posted by Magnetonium on Jan-21-2004 06:15:

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! THAT TUNE IS LIKE SO NEW!!!!!!!!! THAT IS LIKE THE NEW DIRECTION OF TRANCE! Z103, KEEP PLAYING THAT TUNE, THAT "NEW" F---ING TUNE ... AS THE RUSH COMES IN (TO MY ASS) .... NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE! AMAZING SHIT ...

Posted by TrueToTheCrew on Jan-21-2004 13:45:

Can you imagine Z103.5 Live to air from the guvernment with Mark Oliver.

Please God No!!!!!

Posted by Flec on Jan-21-2004 15:40:

nothing at all..

oh no the "keep trance underground gestapo" is here! I'm all for popularizing trance music and makeing it more mainstream.

KarateKid

i don't mind if they play it on Z103 either .. as long as the don't introduce the track as a "fresh new shit" type of thing it doesn't bother me.. personally when they do it shows a bit of arrogance on their part which is what i believe bothers us the most ..

Posted by StereoPrincess on Jan-21-2004 16:48:

can someone please block for me all threads that mention z103.5 playing trance, or start a subforum for it.

as i might have already mentioned: QUIT UR BITCHIN

sounds to me like many of you aren't too happy hearing ATRC or Nothing But You or even AVB's Yet Another Day...

radio play won't degrade a track. Radio play would actually catch the interest of many many new trancers. More n00bs, more hungry they are, more events that take place!

sure i would feel wierd having z103.5 bring in Gab and Dres at the docks for summer rush 2004 or i dunno... Armin for like euro invasion or something but overall what are the chances to hear your tranceaddict event advertised on the radio?

Lets take hiphop as an example.. we all know how commercial that is. It doesn't mean there aren't any underground hiphop artists: DJs and MCs.... They still exist, underground jams take place and so on and so forth.

Change is good.. finally all that cheese i have to go through when i go shopping wont be there and only the best would be pressed on vinyl IMO.

i'm thinking that calls for a sub-forum being created soon

Posted by LKD on Jan-21-2004 18:27:

see as long as they play it in modest quantities, its ok...just dont play it every hour like every other track thats played....

heres the reason why i dont want electronic to go mainstream:

know how packed guv gets when big names come in??? imagine all these commercial music whores comin in as well just to "cath their favourite artist" and ruin it for others by standing around up front of the stage and goin "hey is that X"??? and just contributing to the sweat factor?

And I don't understand why....I mean I despise this song....I much prefer awakening and airwave which they also spin.
