People in Sheffield help re Bars/Clubs

Hi. Looking to find a suitable bar that i could use on preferablly a saturday night, but also could do friday where we could have our own djs and has a late license.

I know people that have used Matrix on a saturday, but u dont get the main room till after 11 which is a bit annoying.

Have any of u guys done something similar on a saturday?

you will be lucky to find a decent venue in sheffield you can a) use/afford to use on a saturday and b) will let you play your own music policy on a saturday.

Yeah i know, shit aint it. Hence why i was asking if anyone else had had any luck with a place i maybe hadnt thought of.

apprently halcyon are a **** against any music away from funky house even if you rent it out midweek for a private party and also they wont let you turn the music up loud much...

erm, the grapes on trippit lane? Or is that not central enough? My mates have a night there occassionally on a saturday and they have complete autonomy over music.

Not sure where that is exactly, where is trippit lane? All im after is a place to have the decks there, and aload of my mates having a few bevvies and having a bit of a dance.

its behind west street. thats what we do, take the decks down and its just all our mates that come down
