Buying Studio headphones. Need tips!!
Hey!
Im planning to buy a pair of Studio headphones. Already have a pair of studio monitors but would like to get some Studio headphones when im working with music during the night times.
Could you recommend me any good and not too expensive Studio headphones?

The AKG phones tend to be a pretty popular choice these days.
And you don't even need a really expensive pair...I've got the k-55's and they are very impressive for the price, very impressive indeed!!
Fow what it's worth I use the Sennheiser HD250's and I have no complaints - my brother uses those Sony DJ ones and to compare them these really show you what's going on.
make sure to consider....
HEY..whatever you do, make sure the things are comfortable. This is probably JUST AS important as the sound.
Nothing worse than friggin headsets that make your temples ache after only 15 minutes of use!!
I personally use, sony mdr 7506, and i'm really happy with them. When you look at this months Sound on Sound magazine they are doing an article on headphone monitoring, And they accually recommend thease sony mdr 7506 for mixing. and fiew other models.. I like them for their bass, clearity and comfort.. When i am not playng music i play video games using the phones, and that's sometimes 3-5 hr's or more, and i can say the phones are the most comfortable ones i used so far..
I got Stanton DJ Pro 2000 for DJ'ing with, will they do for producing?
get em
the pioneers r da bombbbbbbb, the high end ones...silver and black, cant remember the number.
AKG 240 STUDIO! (MAKE SURE YOU GET THE STUDIO VERSION) BEST HEADPHONES YOU CAN GET FOR 100US. THE END
i have teh pioneer hdj1000, im a big guy, so they are probably to small to fit me as comfortable as liked, but the sound is kick ass. especially next to the 60$ radio shack ones i got ripped on.
