from your experience athe r.o.x.y

do you agree paul's best part of his sets
are from 3:30-6:00 am

for 2.27 i am seriously considering
rollerbalding all afternoon around the city
so that i can be go to bed early that evening
and then wake-up fully energized and rested
around 3:00 am before heading there

by the way i was disappointed with joof last
sat in spite of all the favorable comments

"professional dj's" performances are going
through some kind of plateau maybe as the
cold wines a little spark of creativity
"might" come back

anything "close" to the likes of nu-nrg !?

maybe 1-2 in the next decade ...

2 things dude firstly this time paul is spinning from 12-6 not 2 -8 and secondly no way r u gonna b let into the roxy at 3.. the bouncers there are bastards of note so unless u planning to slip them an extra $20 i suggest u get there earlier like around 11 or so.... u can always rollerblade saturday or sunday

i'm all about staying the whole 6 hours just for the whole experience. i like the highs and lows that come with a set so long.

about what time will the bouncers stop letting ppl in. If pvd comes on @ 12 i was think'n of getting there at like 11-1130?

I agree it's not the same when u come for the first 3 hours, or the last or anywhere in between. Paul will take you on a joureny of trance, proggy, breaks, vocals, melodic, banging, techno, whatever his mood that day.. and you really can't fully understand everything that goes on, unless you there THE WHOLE TIME FROM BEGINNING TO END.

So get your moneys worth, colibri, i assure you it'll be WAY WORTH IT !!!!

Rasta

Well I have gone to the last 4 PvD shows at Roxy and I always don't arrive at the Club untill after 2, and I've never had a problem getting in, or I've never had to wait more then 30 min to get in either...So from my point of view I don't see why you would have a problem getting in after 3. But I'm just assuming that you probably figured that Paul would come on at 2 like usual, and not 12

if u hold a ticket ur good... i went to see him in november and got to the club at 1.. but i never had a ticket so i was only let into the club at like 330

yea, i would rather get in and suck it up rather taking the risk of not getting in at all.

Angry

I am pissed that I'm gonna miss the first two hours, I finish work at 1am. Why did they change the times?

veinti siete de febrero

hey,

without a doubt getting tickets @ satellite
records or ticketweb guarantees the easiest/
fastest way waiting on line

so get yours well in advance

ps | please don't bother the bouncers since
they seem pretty sensitive and have repetedly
demonstrated to have an antiquated and
indiscriminate superiority complex even to
harmless beautiful specimens...

all into account 02.27 promises to be an
unforgettable night!

the first 3 hours are his best imo, thats when he drops the newest shit, if you want to hear old stuff come the last 3 hours... but why da hell do u want to go @ 3 imo thats stupid.

no its my aston martin

the first 3 hours are his best imo according to
sandstorm03, really amuses me hahaha

the first 3 hours may seem just like paradise for
some; but quite frankly, the whole ambiance is
just getting started

by 3:00 (ok maybe 2:00) the place is fully packed
and only then, the dj and the lights coordinator
start to really synchronize their best efforts

waiting patiently for 1-2 new releases right from the
very beginning is not a big deal, it won't affect the
overall night

what really matters is how the music evolves and the
general mood/energy projected by the music

unlike the begining the 2nd half is characterized
by being more intense and having a less predictable
repertoire
