Roadtrip to WMC

Myself and steve(variables) are gonna be driving down to miami so we can save money while we are down there. Anyone else interested in coming along?

wow thats a hell of a drive!

how are you going to save money? I think i remember someone saying that parking is a bitch down there, like you have to pay for your parking or else you gotta park far away

Don't know if thats the case though

Your not going to save any money by driving my friend. Think about gas, food, tolls (since you live in nyc) and all the hastle of driving isnt worth it. Check out Southwest Airlines. I Found a round trip for $149.

$240+ for tix right now on spirit

$210 is cheapest on travelocity

I think 21 and up.

1300+ miles NYC to Miami

400 mi. per tank of gas

6-7 tanks round trip @ $20-25 per tank

approx. $150 for gas

2 meals each way = $10

if we get 1 or 2 more ppl, total cost per person's cheaper than 1 RT ticket

in 2002 my sister and i drove to wmc. we were short on funds, and it was a late decision to go.

i drove from syracuse to long island, and we left long island around 6pm. we drove straight there, stopping every 3 hours to gas up and switch drivers. i had a blazer, so we were able to put the seats down and sleep pretty comfortably in the back. it took us 18 hours to get there (mostly night driving, lots of other spring breakers to drive fast with). the ride down wasn't bad.

the drive back took 20 hours and it was tough. i drove the last 7 hours of the trip just so i didn't have to hear any complaining. i also wanted to get back in time to see pvd at soundfactory that night!

we parked and left the car at the hotel parking lot the entire time we were there. i think it was $10/day, and then we took a cab to go to ultra and space so we wouldn't get hit with parking charges again.

all in all, it was loads of fun, and it saved us a TON of money.
