Paul Van Dyk - I Know You Want Me (Positiva)

PVD - I Know You Want Me

comming out in march, its the vocal version of crush (made to capture the commercial side of sales), its pretty shit as to be expected. Same old vocals as with every other tune these days, hopefully the vocal will only appear on the radio edit.

However my promo CDR (not the official promo CD) ive just got, has a full vocal mix lasting the best part of 12 minutes.

I hope some good remixes sort the vocal mess about before the release.

Opions etc..

I think it's excellent. One of my fav tunes from Reflections.

Posted by refuge on Jan-22-2004 16:31:

definitley a classic in the making...

Posted by Glaniskanis on Jan-22-2004 16:46:

Absolutely dire!!
I cant believe how ppl find this good

Totally agree with Nell

Does not sound too exciting. A good remix or two could maybe make it intresting.

you go pvd moneymeister

The original Second Sun version is amazing

Then Paul came along, claimed the track as his own and did 2 totally pointless mixes that add nothing at all.

do you think he is getting hard up for original material?! i mean we've just seen him use hemstock & jennings and basically these tracks are remixes whatever way you look at it.

Posted by DJ_Release on Jan-22-2004 22:04:

i really like this tune
specially when played live
i will for sure buy this when it comes out

Posted by BeatifulEmotion on Jan-23-2004 03:48:

i think Crush and Kaleidoscope all the best tracks of Reflections

a remix of Crush will be good

out!

Posted by beema on Jan-23-2004 05:06:

why???????????????????????????????

Posted by getfoul on Jan-23-2004 07:51:

Why the renaming? And wasnt the second sun version good enough?

Posted by Wildfir3 on Jan-23-2004 07:51:

I pretty much like crush too, even the vocal version.

Ow yeah and all you 'oh no he's making money!!!11!!1!' whiners, whats the matter with making some money. If the 'real trance lovers' would start to buy his music, he wouldn't have a reason to go 'sell out' (which he isn't doing anyway imo). Oh well, as long as we can bitch about stuff

Posted by goatboy on Jan-23-2004 08:23:

Haven't heard this version yet but Crush (the album version) is one of the best tracks on the album (which is his weakest material imo).

I'm gonna reserve judgement, it just depends whether the track sounds
like a PVD track with vocals or if it comes out sounding more like
Ian Van Dahl !!! There's nothing wrong with vocals if done properly.

The full title will be:

Paul Van Dyk feat. Second Sun - Crush (I Know You Want Me)

so the title isnt really changing that much, and at least he's crediting second sun in the title.

This reply doesn't quite go with the PM you sent me. You're quite a two-face, aren't you?

This tune has absolutely nothing worthy of being a classic in it in my opinion and childish attacks like that will certainly not make me change my mind.

Second Sun's original was ok...but PvD just raped another song and claimed it his. and turned it to shit to boot!

yep, correct 1000000000000% paul coppies everything he has ever done... seven ways, tpod and otab suck, and there is no reason for him to be one of the best producers... Let me guess also that tiesto coppies everything hes done, and sasha doesn't work alone... these 3 producers suck right? GO STFU and wine somewhere else, paul ownz u...

Saying that PvD can't come up with original material is just plain crap ... the fact is he's just becoming lazy and money driven.

Posted by Excite on Jan-23-2004 18:31:

i really like the vocal version of pvd's mix..so i can't wait for this release. i'm just pissed he waited so damn long..

Posted by MrchinaSL on Jan-23-2004 18:34:

i also think that Second Sun had more influence on this track than Paul...
