Sahweet! I'm waiting for my copy!
-Note: That's the 'Canadian' amazon link, but this release should be listed under BT either way.-
Let's hope it's better than 'emotional technology'. The music BT has made from films hasn't been too bad so I have good hopes for this.
*rubs hands together in glee*
no, but some of BT soundtracks are quite boring and generic, so the "results may vary"...
And besides, I can;t really imagine what kind of music did "Monster" suggested to BT... "Charlie Is Now Ugly Theme"...

Everything's Relative, and though I'm not going to sit here and defend it, I will disagree with you on that one. It's not trance, but Wow, is it something else. Brian's more a musician than just a trance producer.. After all, how quickly do you think someone like Marco V or Paul Van Dyk would be able to score a film? (NOTE: Don't flame me, I'm not putting down either of them, I'm just making a statement.) |
Man.. I still have not been able to find this anywhere.

mines should arrive today! can't wait to get home!!!!!!!!!!!
released today in the US, $14 on cduniverse.com, might be a little too downtempo for me, but only have been able to listen to the brief samples online.

This has been out months in the UK- I've walked past it on the soundtracks section of HMV plenty of times.

kind of disappointing

CUE FERRIS WHEEL THEME!!!
AWESOME!!!!!!
It's almost Yannilike in his melody, and that's a huge compliment (i.e. Yanni's "Reflections of Passion" comes to mind).
To put things in perspective though, one thing I have always admired about BT is that he still views himself as a student of music despite his enormous theoretical base of knowledge and his practical means of carrying it out over the years. His diversity appeals to me.
If BT's generic, it's because he either invented or pioneered the genre. (Sort of kidding.) Young'uns takin' stutter edits for granted...
But in all fairness, his music for "Die Hard Trilogy" the video game was over-loopy and sounded like someone else got into his treasure trove and cut-and-pasted segments together. His film scores, however, are a VERY different story.
good stuff.
those expecting a dance or trance theme will be disappointed.
instead, it is just really good music that i appreciate
the surround sound is really impressive. i hope that more musicians will start to record and release albums in surround sound format
