Underworld-Born Slippy (PVD mix)

Is it true that this awesome track was never pressed or is that just a rumor I heard?

Actually, it wasn't even released on TPOD either, which leads me to believe (along side the fact that you don't even seem to know the correct name of the album), that in actual fact you havn't even listened to it properly; if at all. So why call something shit that you know clearly know nothing about.

Most? Just a handful of remixes I think you'll find.

underworld didnt license paul's remix for TPOD, nor for a release.

Actually Darren Emerson has always been fine with this. It was the record label JBO that had a problem with it. Fucking cocks

exactly.. u dont go through the artist when licensing a track or clearing a sample.. its always the label cuz they own the rights to the tracks..

Yep, that's correct. Sad really that in many cases, label is really the one to refuse to release a mix/track not necessarily the artist.

whatever..

Darren Emerson prefers to have no connection with Underworld anymore. He kind of left in some unhappy circumstances and I'm sure he is far too busy running his Underwater label and deejaying around the world.

Im so sick of PvD and all his 'uber' exclusive tracks. Am I the only person who feels this way?!

A ton of artists tend to be fine with stuff like this...but not the labels....which is why we see a lot of the more successful artists just start up their own labels so they can make their own decisions and be done with it.

I dont see why you care so much
this was a half-assed "remix" if you ask me
all he did was put the typical PvD-tpod beat behind the original mix of the song. Other than that, everything is the same as the original...he didn't change the arrangement whatsoever...
lame

He didn't make this remix for you or anybody else ... he made it for himself to play in his sets.
