Edgar V & DJ Hydra@Vibe review

Ok, me, trancyn and greg arrived at the club around 10:30. 5$ cover, you cant go wrong there. The place was dead. i mean maybe a total of 15 people in the whole place. Courtney K was spinnin some funky ass house downstairs and Hydra was tearin it up with a great variety in the main room upstairs. We met up with Matt around 11:00 i think. Slowly but surely more people showed up and i would say there were about 30 peeps upstairs towards the end of Hydra's set. he really thew down some great tracks and awesome transitions. He was spinning mostly house, NRG, and trance. again, great vareity. He really had the place jumpin. Edgar came on around midnight and opened with Take the pill. Edgar totally rocked the house. It was my first time seeing him, and he definitly lived up to all the hype. he had me dancin my ass off all night.

All in all it was a great night, the crowd was good, probably ended up being around 100 people, wich was good since its kinda a small place. Awesome sets by all 3 DJs.

Hydra, you gotta let me know next time you are doin a show, I'd love to come see you again.

yeah i didnt get there until 1am but it was a greta show. surprised not that many people were there for such a cheap cover. good night. hope to see more trance dj's coming to gainesville.

I had a total blast lastnight. Hydra's set was awesome. It was a nice surprise to meet up with some TA's. I boogied my ass off. Edgar rocks. another song to Vero's list was a hard version of beautiful things. awesome.

greg and i had oodles of fun too... we were both dying at work friday, but it was worth it!
edgar also played that joshua ryan track that PVD played in frankfurt... the name has escaped me.
arturo, i made sure to say OMFG I DIE I DIE when wondervall came on... you guys also forgot to metion that he played club mix TOOL

I play @ Vibe every thursday, we're workin on more big names, but next week it will be me and one of my friends upstairs all nite (really good local, dj ghost) and we have plans for more trance in the future for sure...you guys were a great crowd I don't care if im spinning for 5 people or 5000 as long as people are into it and everyone there was groovin...lots of fun!

many thanks to Greg for calling me at 1130CT for my usual dose of Time of Our Lives,.... i think ive heard that song on the phone from people at clubs about 7 times and it gets me every time,.... sorry i missed it but im kinda far away now,.... EDGAR V ROCKS!!!

Yeah, this was an amazing night. Time of our Lives, Wondervol(I also was screaming OMG, I DIE!), Born Slippy Nuxx(one of my 5 favorite EDM songs), and a Prodigy song(umm...Breathe maybe? I forget)...These helped make up the best set I've heard from Edgar and the best set I've ever heard on that dancefloor. And respect to Edgar for remembering me from our night of Heinekens well over a year ago!

Adam, great set as well...I want your record bag too! Oh wait...lol...

Speaking of, my bad on the not being able to come practice recently, crazy shit going on the past two weeks. Hit me up man, Imma be in town alot this week, maybe between classes, master Yoda?

Can't wait for the next show...Hardware was the best house set I've ever heard and then followed directly by Edgar...OMG...
