Posted by zarathustra on Jan-24-2004 17:26:

Got it off E-Bay for like $35 about 6 months ago. Did it all of a sudden become super-rare?

OMG you guys are crazy, thats availible everywhere in the UK in record stores, in fact im sure they re-pressed another 1000 copies about 2 years ago due to demand. If thats how much they go for, im going to cash in big style and list on the american ebay! its about 14.99 brand new in the UK

Posted by Mebot on Jan-24-2004 17:31:

at first glance i thought the title of this thread was An Oakenfold Jew

heh.. my mistake

I found my copy at Tower records for 30 bucks. i hope it doesnt get scratched or broke coz i dont want to pay that much for another copy!

$40 for it about 2 years ago.

Absolutely one of the best trance cd's iv ever heard. bar none.

WOW!

retro smash!

80$? I stop listening to that CD 2 years ago. I would have sold you but I threw out the jewelcase and just have the CD. IMO average, has some nice tunes some cheesy... unless youre the collector type that has to hvae every CD save your money.

I remember...
"the prophet" live, thats the last track and thats a great one.

Good luck finding it.

Tsk tsk tsk. What a waste. What I used to do is I would burn a copy of every CD I buy and put them in a book sleeve. Then I store the originals in a humidity controlled room in my house which has no sunlight so the booklets don't deteriorate.

Now, I keep the CDs in the plastic and download them for burning.

Posted by keithos27 on Jan-25-2004 06:34:

umm... that's a little obcessive, no? to each their own i guess. my music sounds the same whether it's kept in a sleeve, in a jewelcase, or in a humidity-controlled environment.

I think he was being sarcastic...or at least I'm hoping so.

I just dl'ed this mix and burnt it to cd...I think people should really buy cd's but even though it's an excellent cd, $40 for a cd is a bit much.

sorry for being a newbie...but can anyone post a link to an online store where i can buy this? tracklisting looks sexy so i want to buy a copy =)

definitely not going to pay 80 bucks for a used copy, so if there is a store that offers a brand new one, whether in the UK or not, please link! =)

Yes I was. But, I do burn copies of some of my more rare albums like Northern Exposure and Renaissance 1.
