James Zabiela

I just downloaded all three Parts of James Zabiela - Bucharest and omg he is blowin up. I've been hearin a lot of insane mixes from late in '03 whoch makes the new year sound promising. Anyone else agree?

yes yes. i am a converted zabiela addict myself thanks to ^^ the user above.

the dudes scratching is just bonkers. especially when compared to PPK - Ressurection (DJ Jean Fart Mix).

i have roughly every Zabiela set released, but there are still a few odds and ends i'm missing. if you need any, lemme know.

Zabiela is fucking awesome. I saw him with Sasha in August. The kid has skills, thats for sure. But I gotta admit that I was getting tired of the mind-bending breaks at times when I saw him. At I really don't like his progressive house style. When he spins breaks and the more trancey stuff, its all cool though.

I love the guy..he did that same stuff with Cowbell last Oct. in Chicago. It was incredible!! One of the better shows I went to last year for sure. I cant wait to see him again. He's one of my fave DJ's right now

I'll have to check out his latest set. I've heard about it but havent searched yet. Any liveset from him is sure to be great.

i got hooked on hearing his newest essential mix .. the landscape he creates just blows me away each time i listen to it.. the ambience, the samples, the perfectly placed track tweaks.. genious

i saw him perform live @ system soundbar in toronto about a month ago, and my jaw was on the floor the whole time. amazing progressive breaks.. and the dj booth had a glass back to it, so you could see him in action.. seeing him run his samples, and scratch it up.. priceless

easily one of the best club nights of my life is thanks to mr. zabiela

I remember first seeing him at one of his first big gigs a couple of years back. It was at cream and he was warming up for what was hyped as "the return of sasha". He was fucking amazing. He was talking to us later on and he was dead nervous asking if it was too loud and telling us that he wanted his mum to come and see him at cream! lol

yeah, he followed around sasha during his airdrawndagger tour... he was throwing down some crazy stuff back then.. totally unique style.. first time i've ever heard anyone scratch over trance well... and so many good breaks...

i hope all his recent popularity doesn't get to his head...
