WOW!
The Phazon has proven itself as Toronto's cleanest & most crisp sound system! Thank GOD Mampi dropped the orginal ver of MO' FIRE. This was the one and only track to really test out a system ... heard it this track at Viva, but couldn't even hear the lyrics at all. But, on the PHAZON ... it was perfect highs, mids and SUPER CLEAN killa BASS!
Swift was crazy! Skibadee was wicked! Friction : no idea, took off after Swift.
IMO, this was the best Theory event!

This was a pic of the intro of MO'FIRE!

Just Curious...
Where is Phazon? Inside the GUV?

I went to theory for one reason. Tha Jungle. And I have to admit, it was awsome!
Mampi Swift owned it.

But I was really dissapointed with the vibe. There were too many thugs, hoes, and ginos. I guess as a Junglist I believe in the dancing over the crowd. I couldn't dance... that really dissapointed me. Its what the Junglists are meant to do.
To be honest, theory is destroying it.. its destroying the magic that Jungle created when the ravers would bust out their moves in underground places...
I saw like 8 ravers yesterday...
What was I thinking?..

| Originally posted by E2EK1EL I don't know about you but, I've been going to Jungle parties for a long time now. It's been the same ppl hitting up every jungle jam week after week. The VIBE is wicked, ppl are so friendly, the crowd is LOUD and rowdy. |

Theory has made the jungle scene massive in TO agian. They've brought almost every headliner from the UK and the States since they strated it. |

The RAVER Junglist are all done now ... everyone has gone more URBAN. The reason why you couldn't dance was the FACT of the floor being way too wet. I found a dry spots hear and there ... and danced fine. |

| Originally posted by Dr. Z The theory crowd is completely different then the rest of the junglists in TO. They didn't make the jungle scene massive in TO again. All they did was introduce it to the urban crowd... ewww? Dude, ravers gone more urban? Thats IS everything ravers have been transcending all this time. Going urban is like George Bush jading to work at a gas station... There are plenty of underground jungle parties around, and I've never seen that crowd at theory... and now I know why. |

| Originally posted by E2EK1EL I'm deeply sorry, but you really don't know what your talking about at all. The JUNGLE scene and has always been URBAN. Syrous and many RAVE companies use to bring down all these hip hop acts, such as DEL LA SOUL, ICE T, RUN DMC, Souls of Mischief, EPMD (5x Platinum) and even Eminem The UK scene is even more URBAN then North America! Majority of these ppl who atten jungle parties are Black. |

| Originally posted by Dr. Z Dude, you fail to see the philosophy. There is a line in between the Jungle scene and the Urban scene. The Juglists are the ravers and the "Urbaners" are the thugs, primarily. Two very different philosophies. If you're telling me they are all one now, then... -sigh- |

i think the junglists who are into hiphop here try to personify the UK scene much more to an extent rather than the American HipHop scene which is by far different today than it was say in the late 80's / early 90's.
atleast that's what i find..
