Right, first off i need some first impressions.
I've done a bit of trance and drum n bass in my time, but this is the first shot at techno since i've gotten into it a lot recently.

Now.. its got to the stage where i kinda don't know where to take it from here. so i'd love some suggestions!

Well the trick to techno is in the percussion. Try adding some more layers it, such as a clap on every second kick, with a bit of reverb and delay on it, and some hats or snares here and there. Just don't go overboard on them.

I think that hi-pitched synth line sounds good and could work well
