I cant believe that Brooklyn is now getting its own team in 50 years. This is gonna be great! Funny thing is how as soon as the Nets become good, they leave and come to NY, lol.

i think the idea of the nets comming to brooklyn is ok, anything this big will hopefully boost the economy for the city and for brooklyn
but i just dont like the sound of "the brooklyn nets"
i dunno i dont think the team should still be named the nets
thats just me tho

i think this will help the team alot i believe more people will go to the games now. there are more ppl that like the nets in ny than nj anyway imo.

and who said the name Nets will even stick, i know in hockey when they switch arena's the team usually gets a new name, like minnisota northstars -> Dallas Stars.

i think New York Nets sounds kinda cheesey. but Brooklyn Nets sounds thugged out. heh... they should move here but still be called New Jersey Nets.

I say drop "Nets" and tag them with The Brooklyn Bounce like that tired eurodance group.

And rumor has it the stadium will be built in the Flatbush area. So dont wear an Away teams jersey. Thats a tough crowd.

I dont know if he is part-owner, but I believe he is investing alot into the team. I think its going to be a group of people as owners - the same was believed is going to happen with the Knicks and P.Diddy.
