who r u the chemical brothers?

So I am psyched about ultra and headlining the flyer is the chemical brothers. i heard one track tonight and it was killer! can u guys tell me a little bit more about them and perhaps some good tracks i can download and expect to hear from them.

You can't be serious can you? Get Chem bros - Hey Boy, Hey Girl, or "Block rocking beats" it's more commercial. Star Guitar is also cool. Just get anything by them as they are fucking good.

once my favorite artists. they didn't really do anything for me to leave them, i just went more in a trance direction from their electronica vibe. They do have some excellent tracks tho. Every now and then i hum a lil Music:Response and Hey Girl Hey Boy. They also put on some shows that go head to head with the visual euphoria of crystal method live. www.astralwerks.com

Shivers, just head out and buy some random albums of theirs, you literally can't go wrong with them.

Their tune "Hoops" is more commercial; I have seen it in car commercials and other advertisements. But for a really kickass tune by them, get Electronic Battle Weapon 6.

Quite weird statement seeing EBW is a remix of Hoops.

Im really excited to see them @ Ultra

definitely one of the best acts to come out of England - ever

all of their albums are great - some awesome tracks with trippy effects and some amazing basslines

like arctic said - you can't go wrong with them - every album is amazing

block rockin beats! banum banum ba-um banum (big beats in background with banum bass)

Man i can tell u when i was in chicago and saw Oakey, Sasha, Diggz, and Chem bros. Chem bros took the show even though it was headline for S&D. Awesome visual show and everyone we were wtih said it was the best show they ever saw. Only problem was some parts where they hold a pitch was so loud i couldnt hear good for like 3 days. I thought i had permanent damage

I think my fav song by them is 3 Little birdies down beats.

I must sound like a complete noob! Sorry for disgracing my fellow trance addicts but I've never really had the opportunity to hear anything but hard & epic trance because I am soo ADDICTED it's sick. I could listen to the likes of George Acosta to Edgar V to PVD all God Damn day. And now another genre I will soon become obsessed with, there's not enough time in the world to enjoy all these good rythms. I will be overloaded at Ultra, talk about "I DIE". If there was a word that could capture something more grandiose than dying I would be in the act from 11 AM - 1 AM Saturday, March the 6th!!!!!! I'll be sure to download a song or 2 if I can. Unfortunately I have a 56K so I have to be selective when I do decide to spend hours waiting. Anyone care to send me a song through AIM and spend a few hours with me? LOL

Tell me about it! The one song I did happen to catch was in a restaurant. It was so intense I had to get up and check it out. And I thought I had heard all of the basslines. DAMN!

find their Best of the Singles 2CD (which they were selling in canada for 18.99). It shows their style and most of their great singles (they left one off that i wanted on but no matter).

My gf got that one for me. Very nice disc, even though I had most every cd they had previously came out with.

Star Guitar is one of my faves. First time I heard it was late 2001 when S&D played it as an encore. I had no idea what song it was, but was completely in awe of it. Memories...
