Velvet Girl - Sumertime (Big favor to ask)

Could someone PLEASE post a clip of the original mix of this song? I'm in a position to buy the Bonzai release with the original and Chiba remix and I want the version heard on Paul Oakenfold's Essential Millenium mix. I've heard the clubby mix and the chiba mix, but haven't been able to get a hold of the original. Could someone post a sample of the original or at least confirm that the original is the one in the oakenfold set? Thanks much!

Clubby Mix and Original Mix of Summertime are the same track as far as I know. Just different names for different releases.

Hmmm...I just got a hold of the cosmosis mix of velvet and its not the same as the one in the oakenfold set. its the same bassline and fx, but the arrangement is very different. maybe chiller twist did an unreleased mix?

btw im obsessed with this song if you cant tell so forgive me for being annoying

No. The version Oakie plays is the original mix of velvet...i also see it's listed on juno on additive label with walking in sunshine on the flip. I'm not particularly sure though but i can check it with my record in the evening and confirm with you...(sample posted on juno is of walking in sunshine).

Original mix of Velvet was the b-side to the release of Summertime (Clubby Mix) and it's not very easy to find in any format. Incidentally, Chiller Twist did three remixes of Velvet.

I see that on Juno, are you absolutely sure its the version that oakie played tho?

I'm quite certain it's the same as the tune i have at home is also on additive. However, i'll be home in no longer than 5 hours as i'm at work and i can confirm with you as soon as i get there

i have 2 copys on vinyl, and the chiller twist song is the only one i play, i just bought the beach commer versin for myself.
