atomix mp3 keeps skiping

i love the beat matching feature but atomix mp3 keeps skipping.
i have 384 meg of ram i think thats enough. should i check for spyware or see if a program is hogging all my ram?

right now im just messing around with atomix and beatmatching before i invest in turntables and a lot of money in records
