Opera vs. IE

and, some things are a little diffferent.. on TA that is..
example:
on IE earlier this morning:
looked normal, but now he's goin about 300 times faster, and i'd say he's about to have a heart attack..
I can only imagine what 100 would be like.
I use netscape 6 or whatever the current version is. Works pretty swell for me.

gif animation bug sometimes
i use opera but for some reason i've been having problems with it as late.
Damn does ^^^ mean this thread is over?
Try the slimmed-down version of Mozilla called Firebird, I've been using it for 1.5 years now and it works great.

i prefer myIE2
IE here sadly cuz of the hebrew support on opera /:
I've got stuck on myIE prolly the first version cause I've been using for about 3 or 4 years.
YES, I USE OPERA FOR A MONTH NOW and the dog IS running so much faster.
as about opera itself, it's much more easy and comfortable to work with.
more, you can enter all the "only for IE" sites, if you choose to identify opera as IE6 [it's possible] on the internet

I use both, equally
Technically, IE is a very solid browser and is quite easily the most Customizable and Programmable browser around....not just a browser, is sort of a container whuch can host a much wider variety of controls and applets....and that exactly is it's downfall.
I had *read* somewhere that there are dedicated teams (anti-microsoft, and for whatever reason) and the only sole aim of these teams is reverse engineering and digging deeper in IE...so they manage to discover and sometimes exploit the security vulnerabilities that make it past the Software Quality tests back in MS's labs.
anything mozilla is just about better than any other browser.
Firebird is what I use, and it is quite stable, but quite quirky with some serious issues of its own.
still, it doesnt suffer from all of IEs security problems|
Mozilla RARRR..
I still use IE, haven't found any other browser which really does anything any better.
I'm surprised that IE4 still renders 99% of websites I visit perfectly.

I've always found mozilla to feel bloaty. I was a big fan of it in the pre 1.0 milestone days (when it was really buggy). I just kind of think opera woops its ass though. Does everything moz does in a much smaller package.
I've never run Opera, but I've been using Firebird for a while, and like it a lot. Great program. The tabs, image blocking, pop-up blocker, and all that is really useful.
MOZILLA
I'd use Firebird, but I like having the mail and ChatZilla all in one program.
