Ya know what sucks?

I was gonna go, then was told it was a two hour set...so I decided not to and already have used the money to be down in LA at another time...

Then Groovetickets updated its listing, and now it's a FOUR HOUR GIG!! (12:00am - 4:00am) .... so pissed at myself. SO PISSED OFF!!!!

I'm giving away two tickets to PvD at the Avalon on my show Sunday night 10-12 PST

Haven't been to it personally, but I know people who've been to it and all the other major clubs on the west coast (Circus & Mayan in LA; 1015 Folsom, The Mezzanine, and Ruby Skye in SF, and the ones in Vegas), and basically it's sound system blow everyone away....except maayybbe Ice in Vegas (because its frickin' a custom-made 50,000 Watt Funktion One system in a pretty small space, and the west-coast Funktion One sound dude lives in Vegas and works for Ice, too, or something)....but everyone seems to love the venue.

I've been to Avalon/The Palace, it's a tight venue, I heard Picotto there. Does anyone know if he'll be spinning a 2 or 4 hour set cuz I've heard both?

PVD will be doing a 4 Hour set. From 12:00AM to 4:00AM. Anyways my barbor leaves in 1 hour im gona go get a hair cut realy quick heheh. talk to u guys about meeting up today. take crae guys. ttyl

So what did everyone think of the show last night? I missed the Aude set due to the long line, but I did enjoy Bonham. Nice to hear Tyrantanic over a decent system. But what was up with the distortion on the higher frequencies?

As for PvD, I thought it seemed a bit harder than I'm used to, but overall not too bad. It was interesting to hear tunes such as "Blue Monday" from him. Overall, not too bad, but I liked his show at the Mayan a bit more.

yeah it was a bit hard..thats why i absolutely looooooved it..u dont get much of bangin sets here in LA...tune of the night..another way..yay

His set at the Mayan back in October was pretty hard, too...and he had the whole place going. Probably why he was hard again.

Up here in SF when he plays at 1015, he's BANG BANG BANG BANG....awesome sets. Always. Can't wait until he plays at 1015 again (one of his favorite places to play).

Blue Monday had me going!!!! It was the shits!!!! Well worth the $40!!!! The 1 Hour wait in line killed it but it was well worth!

HO-LYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SHIT!! Thats all i can say. Just when i thought he was gona play the same shit just like in every set.....boy was i wrong. He had me going alllll night. i mean i have 9 gigz of van dyk live sets....and i still havnt heard a set like that. MUCH props to the man and it was hella nice seeing you again tranceaholic, wouldn't have been the same without u.....my body gaurd...hahahahahahah......i can still ****ing hear ringing in my ears. and had the worste night sleep, so excuse me guys i need to catch up on some rest hehe. PEACE
