Our country has 3-5 cm of snow at the moment, not exactly terrible. It is how cold it is that is causing the problem, because the snow will now freeze and driving and just general transportation, even walking, is hazardess.

If we get 1cm of snow our country grinds to a halt lol. Im sure Holland has just as much as us, surely?

Icey roads due to frozen rain are really a big problem here: the roads look fine but are actually really slippery.

The fact that most of our motorways have ZOAB (pervious) asphalt, only makes it worse: salt doesn't stay on the surface...

yea just a bit of snow, at least 5cm of snow, took my 2 and a half god damn hours to get to college (usually takes about 30 min), then was out in a fricken blizzard, couldnt see shit and felt like nettles being rubbed into my face.

aside from that, snows good

tomorrow is going to be awful for drivers. most roads will have been salted, but its the little roads that won't have the treatment, and theres also less room for error, so i hope there's no accidents near me

Exactly what it was like in New Malden. Unfortunately I was walking home when it started so i got drenched..grrrr...Hopefully there will be 10 feet of snow tomorrow so i won't have to go to work.

i get snow toe, that is when the end of your big toe goes numb diagonally across it(hehe that word makes me think of harry potter) and therefore turns white. there seems to be nothing i can do to prevent it. Happens in both feet as well

yes i was right, the journey to college was a total bitch today.

wheelspinning half way there and nearly fell over (i was on my bmx)

and it half the way was just very wet, so i got tons of splash back up my arse, so i had a wet arse for half a day, but i was only in for like 2 hours. the great thing was that i didnt even have to be in my last 2 lessons as my english teacher slipped on the ice and banged her head on some gate post thing or something. either way there was some sub bastard and he made me read book so i did that then pissed off home.

bitter cold outside and no more ciggies for me (i run out of baccy and skint) need my nicotine fix...
