nope i hear other people had the same problem (or still have?) i'm unaffected right now...
Well you answered your first question with the second. 
It's only a temporary fix, but you can get it working normally by putting:
207.44.240.27 www.tranceaddict.com
in your hosts file. On XP/2K that's c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. On other systems... just search for "hosts". Save it and restart your browser and it'll get it back to normal.
Most people probably aren't having the problem because their ISP's DNS cache hasn't been updated yet. Since the DNS needs to update again to get it fixed, it might take some extra time to get fixed on your end even when TA is back to normal.
Just make sure you erase that line from your hosts file later on.
I messed up.
See, I have the main site on one server and email/dns on another - while upgrading the control panel on the other site it whined that 'tranceaddict.com' was resolving to another IP - so it wouldn't let me pick a legit one, so I chose 127.0.0.1 - the problem arose when the file holding the dns entries for tranceaddict was not immutable/read-only (chattr +i) - meaning that modifications would be saved - resulting in what happened.

Analogy:
The post office got an address change request (when it was supposed to ignore all of those) and that resulted in mail going into a black hole until I changed things back (and made it so any changes are ignored, once again).

k then think of it this way, if you need a non-technical explanation.
You're going over to visit your friend. You get driving directions. You drive around 14 side streets and finally come to the house. You ring the doorbell. Nobody answers. You ring it again - no answer. You start knocking and bashing the door down, still no good. Finally you walk away in frustration, and take a look back, and realize... it's your house.
That is literally what happened in cyberworld... your computer was getting bad directions.
