No no! I got my pen drive 6 months ago, and I can easily say it's one of the handiest things I've bought.

There it is, except mine is in a nice manly pink colour.

my mp3 player acts as a mass storage device.

despite the fact of it being a digital camera, voice recorder, video camera and a mp3 player. i guess the mass storage is just a bi product of it

yeh my mp3 player and camera do that too but its useless unless you can install the appropriate software onto every computer yoiu use- which you can't at uni etc. but a pen drive works on anything

yeah unless ur prepared to bring the install CD with u, i dont because my college monitors like every move u make on a pc...bastards.

so the moment i put the cd in, they will probably lock my pc and i lose the install disk, then seconds after i hear many upset it technicians walking my way.

i now have a nice new keyboard. first space went, then underscore, shift acted as a home key, i lost n, j, and a few others and then after half an hour everykey typed two letters and not one, lol!

theres a lesson to be learned from that, dont spill fanta fruit twist into a keyboard.

no the lesson to learn is that IF you spill something, you quickly remove anything from the inner workings and dry it out quickly and if you're lucky you save the money from a new keyboard to buy some more of your lambrini to get drunk on

there r some anti-spill keyboards out there...

[hijack thread mode]

unfortunately my old keyboard wasnt anti-spill...went to clean the keys and too much wetness got in...my esc key was dead...and occasionally the keyboard would just type random jibberish, opened it up and it was wet inside, dried it off and fine, esc key still fucked though...:/

but i got new keyboard now

Ive been using the current keyboard I have for longer than I remember. Despite extreme punishment its stood the test of time. Has to have a 9 pin to PS2 converter so I can use it. Has the best feeling to the ouch of the keys of any keyboard Ive used. Twill be a sad sad day when this finally dies.

How many people have destroyed electrical equipment by accidently pouring liquids onto them? I dont know one person that hasnt. Its quite shocking how stupid the human race is at times. No matter how many stories we hear of people trashing their keyboard with a cup of tea or can of lager etc, we still end up doing exactly the same a few months later.

Careless perhaps .. not stupid ..

My keyboard isn't antispill yet still seems to work despite large amounts of coffee being spilt onto it at 3am. Its like a weekley ritual, "Oh shit, I've got coffee on the keyboard again, hope it still works this time"
