Posted by nixter on Feb-01-2004 00:18:

Will definately be there!!!!!

Posted by lethal on Feb-01-2004 00:47:

Yep everyone thank the sweetchilli boys for bringing the best aussie producer back to Sydney!!

Apparently suzie q's has been renovated slightly so its a better setup then what it used to be when it was tantra.... heres hoping! Anyway i know dan and crispin woudlnt put sweetchilli in a substandard venue, so it should be a great night filled with the regular sweetchilli shenanigans!!!

Posted by sweetchilli on Feb-01-2004 05:01:

trust me the venue will work guys...

were bringing in our own sound system for both rooms, so no shotty old tantra sound ! ...

were bringing in extra sound curtains

the glass vip room will not be used for the second room.
it will be a chillout style room.

after being through so many venues were used to turning a place into our own !

PS .. luke is very keen to get back to sweetchilli, he said it was one of the best crowds he has played to last time. So hes happy to be back!..

remember, register on the SC website for discount entry.

Nice one A banner with that on it (even if just a paper 1) or a sign, would kill it so hard. I wonder if Luke's got a good sense of humor

Definitely down for this one ! Luke has been described by Sasha as one of the hottest prodigies to hit the scene, and a description like that from Sasha means that I shall be there with bells on. Will be interesting to compare with James Holden also

i shall be there

Posted by webmeister on Feb-02-2004 03:27:

Will see what happens, already got 2 things to go to :/

If Chable could mix as well as he produces, he would be god...

Btw, do you say Chable as though it rhymes with 'stable' or 'marble'? I always though it was like stable but someone who I know who knows him always says it like Marble...

Posted by Sid on Feb-02-2004 08:23:

I think you'll find that the correct way to pronounce it, is the way which rhymes with marble. I'll ask him on Friday night to be sure

Posted by gumble on Feb-02-2004 09:37:

or sha-bell

Posted by escee on Feb-02-2004 10:28:

maybe the c is silent?

ps. i wish luke chable came to perth.

Posted by eRRaTiK on Feb-05-2004 21:31:

Luke will be playing 1.30-4.30 ?

Posted by eRRaTiK on Feb-07-2004 03:25:

i'm not going to even try trainspotting on the prog tracks but, for the mostpart, i enjoyed the set. particulary in the middle to the end and definitely when he dropped 'ride'

Posted by Sid on Feb-07-2004 03:55:

Great night out indeed !

The SC boys sure know how to throw a party and last night was no exception. Arrived at around 12 and meetup with some familiar faces. Had a bit of chat with Joely (who was dressed in his bar tender's outfit ) about the movie, as Luke Chable braced the decks at around 1.30.

Was good I thought, the first two tracks were absolutely unreal and they really set the tone for what was to come. I thought a bit more melody was needed however didn't mind groovin to the tribal beats. Highlights defintely included 'Ride', 'You are sleeping' and 'Your Light (Luke chable vocal mix). There were numerous other tracks, which really blew me away but couldn't possibly put an id towrads. Funniest moment of the night was when Luke had to go to the dunny half through his set. He had been drinking from the start to the absolute end of his set and was as drunk as a skunk.

All in all, was a great night ! it was an absolute pleasure partying with fellow ta's jace, Gil, Nicky (plus friends), lethal, djway, misstrance, erratik, muli and hugoboss. Bring on Two Tribes

wow, wow and wow !!!

more details to come after recovery ..

Add 2 the TL
PQM - While you are sleeping (Luke Chable Vocal Pass)
Holden & Chable - Who's name I can't remember (Holden played in later on his tour last year in Tazzie)

That was a classic moment especially when you started harassing him on his way. lol
Great night was good to party with everyone again.
Chable played some awesome tracks that absolutly blew me away. His mixing was not the best but he made up for it with his track selection.
Other tracks played
Lemon 8- New york , new york
Holden and Thompson- Come to me

Posted by jc on Feb-08-2004 02:11:

yet another awsome SC event, go boys!

music was top notch, did take a while for chable to pick it but when he did the place was going off. However, it was a bit sad to see that the club was half empty about 2 hours into his set.

He told me at the end that the majority of tracks played were by aussie artists (which were so fucking good!)

tracks of the night for me were
Sasha - Cloud Cuckoo (Luke Chable Mix)
Lemon 8 - New York New York

Sid, once again, always a pleasure to party with you!

'till Two Tribes
