European flag

Maybe a bit silly suggestion, but for me no.
Well in this currently european flag you can't see all the stars, it's incomplete! and I was just wondering if any mod. can change the currently flag for a better one.

Why not put your acutal national flag rather than an EU one.

Because I live in an autonomy region between France and Spain, and yes it belongs to Spain but we have our own idiom, our own government, a different culture... it's like Pays Basque (Euskadi) or Bretonia. So I don't feel like spanish at all.
I've seen the Euskadi flag so if you can add the catalan flag better.

yeh, but if your country is within the borders of spain why dont you jsut have the spanish flag, we all used to have uk flags and it didnt bother us.

I see where you're coming from, I don't see an issue with adding the proper flag for your country, but I don't see the need for an EU flag. That being said, it isn't my decision, it's up to teh webmonstah.

Well, the fact is that any flag represents me, because I feel catalan, european and spanish. I don't have the spanish flag cos' many ppl think that Spain has a unique culture. Ppl have more stereotyps about Spain (bulls, paella, sun, hot, beach, siesta,sevillanas...) That's false!
In a part of Spain (in the south mainly) they do some of these things but in Catalonia or Euskadi (the most autonomous regions) we don't do these "typically spanish things".
In my region we don't do any of these things. We don't like bulls, we don't like sevillanas, in here it rains a lot (850 mm/m2), I have snow mountains in 60 Km from my city, it's the richest region of Spain. Dunno it's different!!
My region is near to France, and I think our style of life is more properly to the middle-europe style of life.
So due to I can't have the catalan flag I have the european cos' is the flag that represents me, better.

Nah, I see where you're coming from. Head to an aboriginal settlement in Australia, and it's like a different world, hence some of them preffering to use the Aboriginal flag rather than that Aus one. I think you should get your region/countries flag, it's only fair.

A lot of people in Catalonia don't consider themselves to be Spanish, same as the Basques. Similar situations with many Welsh, Scottish and people in occupied Ireland, i.e. they'd take offence to being called British. They should get the Catalan flag up since UnBrackO is a Catalan.
