Beatmatching in Traktor 2.5

Can somebody help me?
How do you beat match tracks in Traktor 2.5?
I use sync and set button, but tracks are tottaly off!!!
I heard that calculated tempo could be off?
How do you calculate tempo?
Did anybody experience the same problem?
Thanks!

Learn to beatmatch by ear
Tratkor is not always 100% correct in its BPM counter, so just do your best and do it by ear (it's good practice leading up to true decks).

I use to use Traktor 1.1 and it was easier, tracks stayed beatmatched longer...
I hear second deck on my headphones no problem...
It looks that BPM is totally off (even if BPM's are even)...I get the track synched (I use loop) and as soon as I let it go, it goes all over the place...
what about editing (tempo) BPM?
What is quality (in "edit BMP")?

Thanks!!!

my advice to you, and I use traktor as 2 of 4 channels on my mixer (my mk5's the other 2) get in the habbit of not using the SYNC button. If you ever want to be taken seriously trying to mix with traktor there is no need for it.
Most of the time to a trained ear you can hear exactly when you hit the SYNC button.
If you do HAVE to use it, and your using loops, thats probly a big problem. When you do the looping it takes just a short milisecond for traktor to get back to the beginning from the end, and after about 4 reps on a few bars its out of sync, you can keep hitting the SYNC button, but like I said its pretty noticable.
Try and do it by ear like the others said, its not that hard, especially when it gives you a pretty rough BPM cound anyways

A multi channel soundcard works best, my Audigy 2 NX is in the mail I actually use Traktor 2.51 pretty extensively and I've found even in the newest versions the BPM counter isn't that accurate. One example was this time I was mixing Technique - You and Me (Matt Darey Remix) into Paul van Dyk - Nothing But You, and the 1st track had a "139.9 BPM" while the 2nd track had "136.1BPM" and they were perfectly synched... It's a practice of the game. I refrain from using the sync button because if I use it a lot, I won't be getting any practice for when I move to real decks!
