Meo told me he played a Monika Kruze song but I forget name
ummm wat elseeee! Arghh my mind is dead I gotta sleep and ill remember. Oh and what was with the soft music he was playing? Arghhh if it was any other night I would have not have minded it! but last night I really needed a dosage of hard banging techno
But he delivered it to me I just wanted more

Spin me round - JEFF MILLS vs. Purpose Maker

dope remix.. I picked up a copy last month since it got repressed!!

as for the night.. hey j@y:

"I really needed a dosage of hard banging techno"

-- you should have checked out Oliver Lieb @ Stereo.. now that was just what was needed for my techno fix.

OMG it was Sooooooo nice!
there was a LOT of people, but not too much, there was little room to dance...
mauro was incredible once again...i didnt expect that kind of music he played ( the soft part as natch said)
but it was nice, he ended with a couple classics, like HONG KONG!!! OMG OMG
i cant think of other tracks now, but i know mateo murphy spun
Sven Vath - Design Music (?? remix)
John Starlight - Blood Angels

i heard C. Smith & J. Selway - Titan, i think it was by Yaz
btw, amazing set by Yaz too....well for what i saw (got in at 3h45-4h....
also one tune that I remember from Preach's january mix session...
and OHHHH Kobbe - USA Agression!!! THAT ROCKED!!

great party overall, and yeah one last AND IMPORTANT thing....
Mateo Murphy played VERYYY well after Mauro, so now i feel bad about what we said about him!

Posted by disko-kandi on Jan-31-2004 22:37:

Mauro kicked my ass!!! hahaha!! omg!! phew! that'was quite the party!!! i was drenched from to bottoom it was SOSOSOOO HOTT ... but the vibe and energy were great - as always. ARIA never fails in that!!!
people were partying like mad animals!!

mateo ...

What a great party!

Did Mauro play A break in the clouds-James Holden? Or did I hallucinate it? Because I think I recognized it somewhere....

His track selection was excellent and I was amazed by how he can play hard stuff and then smoothly switch back to something more sensual and tech-housy.

Besides the excellent music, the lightning was great too. Finally, the discoball was fully used to make really cool reflexion effects. And I'm sure we haven't see the best of it yet.

As said before, Mateo's set was really something. Again, the track selection made the difference. Unfortunately, I had to leave at 11 AM and couldn't catch the end of his set. But I'll catch up to it this February with Marco G and Yaz, that's 4 sure.

And yes, the people were all into it from what I've seen and felt. Does this place rock or what! And it's always a pleasure to recognize familiar faces weeks after weeks.
