***Right Click & 'Save As' to download***

I recieved an email the other day by some guy wanting me to figure out the piano part for this track, he had already worked out the basic parts of the piano but needed me to figure out the rest. SO I did along with the pads & melody
Anyways I really love this track so I decided to give it a remix myself

All comments welcomed

Oh BTW, If you are wondering about that midi file........

Pervading Call Midi

Come on guys, it's not that bad is it ?

Posted by Syeker on Jan-31-2004 19:42:

Nice (that piano is beautiful). Love the lead, this one has a lot of mambo. Better than your Satellite remix Great work.

Thanks for the great midi , and no it's not bad, but it's not ace's delight remix either. It's really hard to top that remix cause it's just a perfect 10/10. But I think your mix is better than the informers remix

sounds nice mate.

Pretty nice, I like it a lot. It somehow seems to be lacking the gloss of some of your other tunes though and I can't really pinpoint why that is. Maybe it's just because I'm still deaf from the club last night though, hehe.

I like yours better Bren. You whip out some nice tunes.

Nice track mate! I love the vibe in it!

Posted by montana on Feb-01-2004 02:17:

nice, i like it, the melody is cool and the part where it just goes silent and builds up is also nice, good job

Posted by Romain on Feb-01-2004 10:01:

the original track is a stormer; your remix is very good too, nice use of the piano, and i love the way you play the melody. It's a really good alternative to the Ace's Delight version.
Good job! very pro, as usually

All i can say is that this is a good remix dont prefer this over the Ace's De. remix but this is sure something, great work Bren.
EM.

i like the remix(only the bassdrum is kinda odd)
want to hear more from you!

Posted by Djeebie on Feb-01-2004 13:33:

Very nice man! I like this one even better than the remix by Ace's Delight. Very nice use of sounds and melodies

Nice remix, but for some reason it doesn't give me goosebumps like Ace's Delight & Informers Remix both did. Two reasons I can think of : a slightly different melody/less originality. Still a good remix tho, like Romain said: good alternative to Ace's Remix!

Posted by Shepless on Feb-01-2004 16:40:

Hey great tune, but some nit picking to be done......

At 1:34-1:37 the bass gets louder when the bassdrum stops playing, over compression on the whole mix! Its also noticeable when the main tune is playing and the BD comes in in the buildup!

Piano is too punchy sounding, maybe lower the velocity a tad?

The Square noise really bugged me, but thats personal taste!

Only the plus side, i absolutely loved the panning saw pad in the breakdown, brilliant!

Strong lead, very good!

Overall mate a top notch tune, but sort that compression out

Shep

P.S. - Thanks for that EQ thingy, helping me out a LOT!

Dude i never fail to be impressed by your remixes ever since i joined TA a couple of months ago, all of them are top drawer and this tune is no different. I know when a Bren F Remix comes out that its going to have quality written all over it.

It was kinda hard to top the Ace's Delight remix of the tune, but nonetheless i am a big fan of your efforts, keep up the good work and ill keep on enjoying these excellent tracks

Posted by alzalam on Feb-01-2004 23:36:

sounds great!

Posted by dbl on Feb-02-2004 00:09:

what's with the really long space at about 4:15?
maybe it's just me that don't like it

the panning saw pad was reallly nice.. really liked it

good remix

same here unfortunatly, but like with your remix of nothing to live for I love the way you put energy into such melodic moving tunes, I love it sorry not as descriptive as others lol i'm still a newbie lol but becoming a big fan of your work, your remixes are top notch

Posted by Icone on Feb-02-2004 10:11:

This is sounds really impressive Bren, I think it's way better than your remix of Satellite. But then again, you can't help that original track

I did think some parts sounded a little empty here and there though, mainly the buildup. Maybe add some little effects and it'll sound alot less empty already.

Piano is indeed very nice, very cool melody. Lead is getting better and better as well, sounds powerful. Maybe try to fix some things about the filter cutoff though, I think it'd make it sound more natural.

All in all, top notch work this one mate, looking forward to a track by yourself again

Cheers,
Wim

Very well put together track.
Although it has a very slappy feel to it. Probably the compression Shep was talking about.

Other than that great job.

Posted by djHollen on Feb-03-2004 01:54:

you put out some great great material Bren
but what is up with the long slot of no sound whatsoever? is that a mistake? or do i just not get it?
