Satan (eek!) Cass @ Sweetchilli - Feb 20th

It's easy to blurt out vague declarations about a DJ's talents, but Englishman Cass puts his music where his mouth is. He's quickly making strides to the short list of world class DJs, booked solid around the globe from Australia to Buenos Aires and throughout Europe. He's developing something of a special relationship with the USA, which started with DJ spots at Twilo in New York and now regularly taking in most major metropolitan cities, whether it's Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Washington DC, Boston, Atlanta, Austin, or Denver.

Cass returns to Australia, and makes his debut @ sweetchilli on feb 20th.

Is he bringing Slide?

Perception goes nuts !lol

will be there

Posted by gumble on Feb-01-2004 11:15:

i could be wrong, so correct me if i am....

Cass plays a lot deeper "than perception style", and normally DJs by himself.

"Slide" produces "trancier" stuff with Cass, and when they occasinally DJ together, play a trancier style.

But im pretty sure Cass will play a deep driving sound - in other words - FUCK YER.

Cass & Slide split up a fair while ago.

I don't really like the electro punk house direction Cass' productions have headed in recent times, and looking at his recent tracklists he still appears to be in that deep, dark & boring sound.

Mind you if its cheap, and if he comes to Perth, I'll probably go see him

I highly reccomend everyone check Cass out - his style is defintiely not trance but is a unique sound that never fails to impress me and is well worth shelling out the minimal outlay to see him spin!! Looking forward to this BIG TIME!
