Calling all TECHNO lovers!
I just listened to Dave Clarke - World Service for the umpteenth time, and I must say it gets better and better w/ each listen. Anyways, I was hoping some of you had some recommendations of techno similar to this. Tunes that have a similar construction as Black Odyssey - The Stand, Dave Clarke - Compass, etc.
I remember going on and on and on about this cd last year. Talk to skipper, she knows her techno inside and out.

Dave Clarke is amazing, and that is one of my fav albums. Can't wait to see him at Mayday this year. He was probably the highlight for me last year at NEC alongside PvD's set to. Legend. ![]()

To me anything Clarke, Picotto or Beyer is awesome. Check out Technoputa.com, the forums section has alot of live techno sets to download. Also check out Technopride.net (i think thats it). The Live vids section has Chris Liberator, Dave the Drummer & Pet Duo which are all awesome hard techno.
I am a member at technoputa, but I am looking for this specific style of techno. Nothing too banging, which is what Beyer is usually like. I want more like Dave Clarke's World Service stuff.

First thing that popped into mind is Luke Slater - Fear and Loathing (2CD).. dunno if it's exactly what you are looking for though. Let me know
Hey check out:
Funk D'Void stuff for example To ya waistline, Diabla, Emotional Content...
Laurent Garnier stuff like Coloured city, Flaschback, the man with the red face...

what you are looking for is
stuff on labels like Rotation (Dave Angel,Jel Ford++), Scandium (Southsoniks,Dan Corco,Fred Carreira++)
Check out The Youngsters,other F-Com artists, french techno in general, funky stringy techno, but still not too "weak" if you should call it that (or not too hard)

Funk D'Void (as mentioned earlier) - new album owns bigtime
Adam Jay ( http://www.djadamjay.com ), download livesets/livepa's from his site, lots of NICE techno (especially the live pa's)
