Linkin Park - Numb (Michael Feihstel Dub)

Since some people didn't like the original vocals, well, here's the Dub version of my remix. There are a few more layers, percussion and a nice filter effect on a looped vocal part...it just got a better flow with this arrangement.
Unfortunately a breaks dub of this track didn't work...i just wasn't satisfied with it. Therefor i decided to keep it this way. Note: This Dub isn't only The Remix with a muted vocal track...there are a few more extensions.

Have fun with it!

That totally sucks man. I wonder if it's safer posting samples at 128kbps.

Oh and I'd love to get signed I don't know how to handle this in the future...We'll see. Maybe Niklas is right.

niklas is right, you should but a 96k version up here

I think it depends on what you post. I think original stuff should be kept to lofi (unless you have no plans of sending that track to a label) And maybe keep indulging us with high quality remix's

Thumbs up

I am LOVING the Dub. Great work this is much better than the vocal mix.

very nice m8...great progressive, chillout track

Nice job on the dub man! I still prefer the vocal, but the dub is also a great piece of work. Keep up the good work

Posted by sot on Feb-05-2004 17:58:

hey michi, played your tune on my show yesterday and i got some feedback for ya: Ok at about 9:19 and 9:34 the kick seems to go off just a little bit and when i was mixing out of it, my mix was going off a bit. also maybe try to boost up the kick a bit, its a bit weak compared to other tunes and if ya boost it up a bit or maybe just make a new stronger kick it would make the track alot more better. I still love the tune and will keep playin it but just those minor changes would make the tune much better imho

Great work yet again Michael! I was hoping you come up with the breaks version but too bad it didn't work. Anyway.. i'm more than happy with this version, works very well!! Still prefer vocal version tho becuae i like the vocals.

Posted by DjCommisad on Feb-14-2004 03:34:

yeah, very good work Michael, except someone pointed out that during the song the highs seem to go off kilter a bit, happens in the beginning too before the dubbed vocals fade in for the first time. Otherwise great work.
