Invisible Grin Janet Jackson

I'll get to the point. What is being done to Janet Jackson by CBS, the FCC, and the Texas Christian Coalition is wrong. They're acting like it was done on purpose. Any idiot can plainly see that this was not staged.

Now, she's being un-invited to upcoming awards shows. The industry is basically blacklisting her. A movie she had done for television is being pulled and theres talk of her record label dropping her. And to make matters worse, our own American president has now returned to doing what he enjoys most. Shoving the censorship issue down our throats. Theyre launching some huge investigation into this whole incident. Come on!! Can you see Justin Timberlake at the Senate Committee saying, That is correct senator.

While Im not a huge fan of Janet Jackson or JT, they are fellow musicians. And thats why Im going to do something I thought Id never do again. Im going to actually buy a CD. While I cant do anything about our government wasting our time and money on this issue, I can do my small part to speak for those who think Janet Jackson is being made a scapegoat for every other television show that has had questionable censorship issues, while spitting in the face of the spineless television execs. Not to get off the subject, but MTV clearly showed their colors when they distanced themselves. It will be interesting to see their actions in the next few weeks.

So lets all help her out and buy her crappy CD!!

She is getting screwed, although from what I've seen, it did seem to be intentional, what with the nipple guard and the fact that Justin Timberlake reached over and removed a piece of her clothing. I suppose it's possible that he had some sort of muscle spasm that accidentally caused him to reach over, grab her jacket, and pull it, although I doubt it.

You're right about it being intentional. It was 'supposed' to be just the top layer of her outfit removed. Somehow, her bra came off with it.

But more importantly, I support her right to be topless.

I think so too, cause why else whould she have had all that metallic shit all over her nipples? and even if it wasnt to be staged, why would she do it?its the super bowl lady, and your janet, not latoya. either way, her and justin should have thought it over if it was to be a staged situation. caus a main investigation is starting and both of them are in big shit.

Of course it was staged. On the other hand, who cares? Only in America would something like this cause such an uproar. We see titties on the beach all the time here

Posted by Coup on Feb-04-2004 19:49:

Janet and Justin have both admitted it was staged, Justin has even gave interviews and commented on the staged stunt they pulled. so whatever is happening to Janet, she only has herself to blame, as i cant really see this being Justins idea.

Only in America. The rest of the world is laughing at you. Talk about hypocrisy - you're the porn capital of the world for crying out loud.

Get over it.

Erm, personally I really don't care if she flashes her tits or not. Hell I don't care if she does full frontal. The real tragedy here is the glorification of violence - men bashing into each other as hard and fast as they can. Since when did sex kill someone? And since when did violence kill someone?

Not all of America follows brainlessly.
