Great news! A TOOL bootleg and of all songs Aenema. One of my top 5 TOOL songs ever. Cant wait to listen to this.

EDIT: Just listened to the track. Its a good track. Just wish they had kept Maynard's vocals.

Wait until you hear the Noel Sanger Mix!

Iv only heard a radio rip, but the bass in the original sounds so low. I hope its just the radio sounding crappy!

Is that the same PQM as from 'The Flyin' Song' with them massive Markus Schulz Renaissance remixes?
If so, ... can't wai to hear it!

yes! it would have been much more powerful with his voice. his voice is magic. only seen them live once, almost a religious experience.

anyway, this track is ok, i like pqms stuff.

I dont like the song that much, maybe because I'm too attached to the original. This song is lacking a lot of things in comparison to the original, but then again, this is something totally different. However, I did like the guitar playing a few minutes the song is over..

Wow. This remake is horrible, in my opinion. I don't think any Tool song is suited for prog house, especially Aenema. I don't think the woman's voice fits the track too well. She sounds way off key. I don't think using Maynard's voice would work with the track either. I will stick to the original.

Noel Sanger Mix is incredible! Breaks at its best with a evil baseline.

aenema...

hey guys u can hear a bit of my mix, humbly submitted for your approval, on the audio page of www.noelsanger.com

and umm, on my mix the vocals are in key. (no disrespect to quick as his mix is killer imo!)

tell u guys, what, i am also a tool fan, and i wasnt so impressed with the vocal performance on first listen. but it really grew on me. i think its awesome now.

Hey Noel, I checked out the clip on your site. Your remix is easier on my ears than PQM's. I think the vocals sound a lot better on your mix. Because I am a huge Tool fan, and because I have seen them perform Aenema live (so much intensity), I was a bit taken aback when I first heard PQM's mix. I guess that mix just didn't click with me. I like how your mix is darker and I think it fits the song better.

Is there a dub of your mix?

definitely would rather have had maynard's vocals on the track... his voice is incredible. gives me chills.

Noel your remix is IMO better than the original PQM mix. I also think the dark feel fits the song better. Great job. *Thumbs Up* to the fact that you are a TOOL fan. Keep up the good work. Release info anyone?

thx

thx for the kindness guys...

i have always loved that song and, yeah, i mean how badass would it have been with maynard's voice? my goal was to keep it clubby and at the same time get some of that original tool angst that resonates so well with me into the mix.

my mix, btw, is called the "global reset button mix" in reference to a comment ice-t made years ago about the whole world needing a giant reset button because it was so fuct. i can feel that more today than ever and these lyrics just fit completely. not that i'm all morbid or anything, but its actually consoling when you can hear art in which someone else shares your darkest fears and feelings. and that is why i LOVE tool.

peace

noel
