Gasparilla this weekend 1/6

Hey I'll be in tampa this weekend for gasparilla.. what are the best parties this year to hit up?

if i was still in florida i would definitely be all over this,... this will only be the 2nd gasparilla ive missed in the past 10 years.... melissa, you should know the usual spots,... stay clear of ybor,.. channelside might not be a bad idea, macdintons on howard is pretty sweet, dubliners around the corner from macdintons on azeele is also another really cool bar, the rack across from hyde park cafe on platt is pretty good, 4 green fields also on platt closer to bayshore is a good classic,... those are all bars execpt for channelside which would give you more of a lively atmosphere,... you should know the drill for the daytime,... i wont accept anything less than a beer in hand by 10am at the latest,... vodka in your breakfast cereal is a good start....,... damn, this sucks i cant make it

to all other TA's in the area,... go to this,.. its the most fun you'll have all year (in the non-musical sense, it has nothing to do with music) get drunk all day and i mean ALL day with 500,000 to a million of your closest friends.... Tampa/bayshore,.. bring alcohol and friends and you wont go wrong oh,.. and some walking shoes b/c you'll probably walk a good 5-10 miles that day,...

hey there.. yeah im thinkin the rack or hyde park cafe on fri night.. they play some good breakbeats there on fridays from what i remember... my girlfriend lives right on bayshore so we can make our own morning cocktails and walk out her front door to the festivities. i think sat night we will hit up ybor.. its not as nasty as the night parade.. but i wouldnt mind a little green iguana, amphitheater, nar tampa, or prana... takes me back to my college days at USF! last year i somehow ended up at Mons at 4am.. hmmm....lol

Zewad is right, Gasparilla day parade is one of the funnest days of the year, ive gone the past few years and absolutely had a blast. Defintely one of my favorite non music events, i dont drink but a few times a year and this is one of them, great fun and atmosphere, see you there.

Definitely... i havent missed one in 7 years! i tend to like the day parade a little more.. not as crowded and gross as the night one. where will you all be partying?
