What is tech trance, ive heard a lot about it... can u plz give me some examples? thanks

Damn, I love this stuff. The genre is on the upswing this year.

Mauro Picotto's stuff pre 2003 is mostly tech trance. Very good stuff.

Even stuff like F Massif - Wonderfull...while being still synthy and uPLifting...I would even call that tech trance.
And then there is Ricky Fobis stylez tech trance...
And then there is Oliver Leib stylez tech trance...
And the Tiesto style...ala traffic
and then there is some of Kai Tracids stuff
and even tomcrafts

its so oldskool, yet newskool...I love it

i think of it like techno trance...harder and edgier sounds over melody...listen to something like marco v's mix of clocks, its trancy, then goes to like techno...

trance = melody>rythem
techno = rythem>melody
tech trance = a mix of both normally

im not sure id hope so, yeh id liek more nice techtrance tunes but wanky cheesy ones might start springing up everywhere and every ****** starts playing it and it will start to drill!

i hope techtrance increases in more popularity in new dj's and artists but doesnt get big

anyway to the question in hand, tech trance is trance structure with techno effects and synth lines, usually a more electric and darker sound.
